Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Open availability including days nights weekends and holidays
- Tips and SERV Safe certification preferred
- Ability to handle fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must comply with all company policies
- Ability to work flexible hours including 24/7 operations
- Willingness to participate in training and development programs
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant supervisory experience
- Experience supervising banquets a plus
- Experience working in a hotel and free-standing environment helpful
- Computer proficiency with tools such as Micro Symphony Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience creating weekly schedules
- Managerial experience to resolve guest and employee issues
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of cost controls and cash handling
- Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Lead food service team in dining area handling hiring scheduling training guiding and evaluating
- Manage front-of-house food and beverage operations including coordinating events and following established procedures
- Participate assist and contribute to annual special events for the hotel and conference such as Mother's Day and Easter events servicing over 1000 guests per event
- Establish and ensure all controls including bi-annual inventory controls are met
- Ensure that state and local sanitation codes are followed
- Maintain a positive attitude and create a nice first impression
- Record all charges correctly in POS system and balance at close of shift
- Complete all side work at the end of shift
