Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Tip and SERV Safe certified preferred
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience in restaurant settings
  • Availability to work day, night, weekend shifts and holidays as required
  • Ability to manage and supervise a team of up to ten employees
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient with POS and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to maintain compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Two plus years of restaurant supervisory experience
  • Experience supervising banquets is a plus
  • Experience working in a hotel and free-standing restaurant environments helpful
  • Computer proficient with Micro Symphony, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to create weekly schedules
  • Managerial experience to resolve guest and employee issues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of cost controls and cash handling
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Lead food service team in dining area, handling hiring, scheduling, training, guiding, and evaluating
  • Manage front-of-house food and beverage operations, including coordinating events and following established procedures
  • Participate, assist, and contribute to the annual special events for the hotel and conference such as Mother’s Day and Easter events servicing over 1000 guests per event
  • Establish and ensure all controls including bi-annual inventory controls are met
  • Ensure that state and local sanitation codes are followed
  • Create a positive first impression with a positive attitude
  • Ensure all charges are correctly recorded in the POS system and balanced at shift close
  • Complete all side work at the end of shift
