Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of experience in food service leadership
- ability to demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills
- ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- ability to obtain and pass food handler certification
- physical ability to perform frequent lifting pushing pulling bending squatting stooping
- ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
- ability to work in kitchen environment with exposure to heat noise chemicals and temperature changes
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in food service leadership
- proven success in food and beverage operations
- full-service and bar experience is a plus
- demonstrated interpersonal and supervisory skills
- ability to manage staff and foster positive work environment
- sufficient education to read write and use computer systems
- ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure
- availability to work holidays weekends and variable hours
- able to pass a food handler certification exam
Job Duties
- Lead by example putting the customer first and delivering exceptional customer service
- frequently address guest concerns with empathy and clear communication
- assist staff with restaurant duties including cooking serving bussing hosting bartending dishwashing cleaning or other tasks
- build strong relationships with workforce being approachable and supportive
- effectively delegate management responsibilities to restaurant leads
- assist with allergen and food preference requests
- utilize scheduling software to ensure adequate staffing
- serve disciplinary action to employees for attendance or policy violations
- conduct interviews for new hires and internal applicants
- handle employee relations issues promptly
- ensure equipment functions properly and restaurants meet safety and health standards
- train and enforce health and safety requirements according to company policy and OSHA
- minimize food waste through management practices
- monitor financial reports and timekeeping weekly
- monitor labor hours and ensure payroll accuracy
- manage and count inventory
- assist in managing catering events
- create daily operational reports for management
- perform additional tasks or cross training as requested
