Job Requirements
- Sufficient education to read, write, and use computer systems
- At least 2 years of progressive food service leadership experience
- Proven success in Food and Beverage operations
- Ability to work under pressure
- Availability to work holidays and weekends
- Ability to pass Food Handler certification exam
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and stooping
- Constant walking and standing during shifts
- Occasional crawling and climbing
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work in environments with heated equipment, noise, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations
- Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
- Positive demeanor and adaptability
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in food service leadership
- Proven success in Food and Beverage operations with full-service experience
- Additional bar experience is a plus
- Demonstrated interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Ability to manage staff and foster a positive work environment
- Education sufficient to read, write, and use computer systems
- Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and varied hours
- Ability to pass a Food Handler certification exam
Job Duties
- Lead by example, putting the customer first and delivering exceptional customer service
- Frequently address guest concerns with empathy and clear communication
- Assist staff with any restaurant duties including cooking, serving, bussing, hosting, bartending, dishwashing, and cleaning
- Build strong relationships with workforce, being approachable and supportive
- Delegate various management responsibilities to restaurant leads
- Utilize scheduling software to ensure adequate staffing
- Serve disciplinary action to employees according to policy
- Conduct interviews for new hires and internal position applicants
- Handle employee relations issues promptly and effectively
- Ensure equipment functionality and health and safety compliance
- Train team leaders and employees on safety requirements
- Minimize food waste through effective management
- Monitor financial reporting and timekeeping
- Manage inventory and labor hours
- Assist and manage catering events
- Create daily operational reports for management
- Perform additional tasks or cross training as requested
