Job Requirements
- Education sufficient to read, write, and use computer systems
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in food service leadership
- Proven track record in Food and Beverage operations
- Ability to work under pressure
- Availability to work holidays and weekends
- Able to pass a Food Handler certification exam
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and stooping
- Ability to stand and walk constantly during shifts
- Ability to tolerate loud noise, chemicals, and extreme temperatures
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in food service leadership
- Proven track record in Food and Beverage operations
- Experience with full-service restaurants
- Additional bar experience is a plus
- Demonstrated interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Ability to manage staff effectively
- Foster a positive work environment
- Sufficient education to read, write, and use computer systems
- Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure
- Availability to work holidays and weekends
- Able to pass a Food Handler certification exam
Job Duties
- Support and assist Hotel Food and Beverage Manager in daily operation
- Provide direct support to the Front of House leadership team
- Stand in for leadership as necessary
- Lead by example in customer service
- Address guest concerns with empathy
- Assist staff with restaurant duties
- Build strong relationships with workforce
- Delegate management responsibilities to restaurant leads
- Assist with allergen and food preference requests
- Strive to achieve Key Performance Indicators
- Use scheduling software for staffing
- Serve disciplinary actions as per policy
- Conduct interviews for new hires and internal applicants
- Handle employee relations issues
- Ensure equipment functionality and safety compliance
- Train team leaders and employees on health and safety policies
- Minimize food waste
- Monitor financial reporting and timekeeping
- Monitor labor hours and payroll accuracy
- Manage and count inventory
- Assist and manage catering events
- Create daily operational reports
- Perform additional tasks and cross-training as assigned
