Job Requirements

  • Frequent lifting pushing pulling bending squatting and stooping
  • Constant walking and standing during shifts
  • Occasional crawling and climbing
  • Frequently lift and carry items weighing 20 to 40 pounds
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work in kitchen environment with exposure to heated equipment loud noise chemicals and extreme temperatures
  • Adaptability and positive demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in food service leadership
  • Proven track record in food and beverage operations with full-service experience
  • Additional bar experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • Ability to effectively manage staff and foster positive work environment
  • Sufficient education to read write and use computer systems
  • Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure
  • Availability to work holidays weekends and variable hours
  • Ability to pass a Food Handler certification exam

Job Duties

  • Lead by example putting the customer first and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Frequently address guest concerns with empathy and clear communication
  • Assist staff with restaurant duties including cooking serving bussing hosting bartending dishwashing cleaning and other tasks
  • Build strong relationships with workforce being approachable and supportive
  • Delegate management responsibilities to restaurant leads
  • Assist with allergen and food preference requests
  • Utilize scheduling software to ensure adequate staffing
  • Serve disciplinary action for attendance or policy violations
  • Conduct interviews for new hires and internal applicants
  • Handle employee relations issues promptly
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and meet safety and health standards
  • Train team leaders and employees on health and safety requirements
  • Minimize food waste through effective management
  • Assist in financial reporting and timekeeping
  • Monitor labor hours and ensure payroll accuracy
  • Manage and count inventory
  • Assist and manage catering events
  • Create daily operational reports
  • Perform additional tasks or cross training as requested
