Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in food service leadership
  • full-service restaurant experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage and motivate a team
  • proficiency with scheduling software
  • knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • ability to work under pressure and adapt to varied shifts
  • physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform frequent walking standing bending and other physical duties
  • must be available to work holidays weekends and extended shifts
  • successful completion of food handler certification
  • willingness to wear uniform and personal protective equipment
  • ability to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat noise chemicals and extreme temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in food service leadership
  • proven success in food and beverage operations
  • full-service experience preferred
  • additional bar experience is a plus
  • demonstrated interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • ability to manage staff and foster positive workplace environment
  • sufficient education to read write and use computer systems
  • ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure
  • availability to work holidays weekends and varied hours
  • able to pass food handler certification exam

Job Duties

  • Lead by example putting the customer first and delivering exceptional customer service
  • frequently address guest concerns with empathy and clear communication
  • assist staff with restaurant duties including cooking serving bussing hosting bartending dishwashing and cleaning
  • build strong relationships with workforce being approachable and supportive
  • delegate management responsibilities to restaurant leads
  • assist with allergen and food preference requests
  • understand and strive to achieve key performance indicators goals
  • utilize scheduling software to ensure adequate staffing
  • serve disciplinary action for attendance or policy violations
  • conduct interviews for new hires and internal applicants
  • handle employee relations
  • ensure equipment functions properly and meet safety and health standards
  • train all staff on health and safety requirements
  • minimize food waste through effective management
  • assist in financial reporting and timekeeping
  • monitor labor hours and payroll accuracy
  • manage and count inventory
  • assist with catering events
  • create daily operational reports
  • perform additional tasks or cross training as requested
