Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school education
  • minimum of two years restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision
  • alcohol awareness certification preferred
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • ability to exceed guest and team expectations
  • strong multi-tasking abilities
  • availability to work flexible hours and shifts
  • knowledge of local alcohol serving regulations
  • understanding of federal, state labor laws and local health and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school education

Job Duties

  • Supervises, trains, monitors and coaches department staff
  • directs and assigns employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards
  • oversee food and beverage operations at the hotel including daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar service and occasional banquet
  • performs department opening and/or closing duties
  • reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times
  • reports to and works directly with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager
  • immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests
  • perform various other duties as assigned
