Job Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a hotel manager or supervisor position
  • Experience with major brands like Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt highly desired
  • Knowledge of local and state compliance laws
  • Strong leadership skills to lead a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to ensure compliance with hotel policies and brand standards
  • Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds
  • Maintain professionalism, trust and responsibility
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and courteous to clients and guests

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas
  • Assist with overall performance of housekeeping including guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget management, and labor control
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are company approved and equipment is maintained and available
  • Lead, manage and motivate associates for high service levels and retention
  • Execute housekeeping training aligned with brand and company standards
  • Maintain compliance with brand and company policies and new initiatives
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public and back-of-house areas for quality standards
  • Coordinate with the front desk to prepare rooms for check-in and respond to guest requests
  • Report maintenance issues in a timely manner
  • Promote McKibbon's Guiding Principles in daily operations
