Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or event coordination preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stand and move throughout event spaces for extended periods
  • Valid work authorization

Job Duties

  • Represent the Hyatt brand and connect with meeting planners to ensure a positive hotel image
  • Stay in close contact with all hotel departments to meet planner and hotel requests
  • Serve as the eyes and ears for all meetings and special events by communicating with the Events Department
  • Check all event spaces before planner arrival to ensure they meet event order specifications
  • Communicate with planners to address concerns and find creative solutions
  • Provide information about the hotel and the City of San Antonio
  • Support smooth operation of onsite events by liaising between planners and hotel staff
