Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of hotel or food and beverage experience preferred
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Present a professional appearance and confidence
  • Ability to walk and stand for 8+ hours per day and lift 35 or more pounds as needed
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer systems
  • Understanding of food and beverage operations
  • Excellent knowledge of Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Open availability 7 days a week
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Represent the Hyatt brand and build positive connections with meeting planners
  • Serve as liaison between onsite meeting planners and all hotel departments
  • Monitor event spaces and coordinate with the Events Department to ensure smooth operations
  • Address concerns and develop creative solutions with event planners
  • Provide information about the hotel and the city to planners and guests
  • Inspect event setups to ensure compliance with event orders
  • Maintain effective communication with hotel staff and planners throughout events
