Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of hotel event sales or event planning or comparable experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2 years of hotel and/or food and beverage experience preferred
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Present a professional appearance and confidence
- Ability to walk and stand for 8 hours per day and lift 35 or more pounds as needed
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics
- Ability to quickly learn new computer systems
- Understanding of food and beverage operations
- Excellent knowledge of Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have open availability seven days a week
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Represent the Hyatt brand and connect with meeting planners to maintain a positive hotel image
- Stay in close contact with all hotel departments to ensure all planner and hotel requests are met
- Monitor all meetings and special events, checking event spaces against orders to ensure readiness
- Communicate and address concerns with planners, providing creative solutions
- Share information about the hotel and the City of San Antonio with guests and planners
- Serve as a liaison between onsite meeting planners and hotel staff
- Support event operations by being the eyes and ears on the ground
