Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- vocational or technical background preferred
- at least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience
- universal chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification
- valid driver’s license
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- open availability preferred
- ability to work full time
- compliance with safety and security policies
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

- experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting
- at least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
- valid driver’s license
- universal chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification
- ability to train and mentor others
- working knowledge of engineering computer programs
- ability to perform Engineer on Duty tasks
Job Duties
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
- perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
- troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems
- assist with surface preparation and painting
- use Lockout/Tagout systems for safety
- train and mentor other engineers
- perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities
- follow all company safety and security policies
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested
