Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance or related field
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work overnight and day shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting
- Knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other systems
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and movement
- Ability to work hybrid shifts including overnight
- Valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- Communicate with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Carry equipment such as tools and radio
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and building utilities
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
- Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
- Display knowledge or acquire knowledge in air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and building maintenance
- Perform surface preparation, painting, drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and air conditioner filter replacement
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment and plumbing
- Program TVs and perform housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
- Repair interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler systems
- Display basic computer skills for scheduling and temperature control
- Follow company safety and security policies
- Report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Properly store flammable materials
- Ensure clean and professional uniform and appearance
- Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
- Welcome and acknowledge guests following company standards
- Assist individuals with disabilities
- Adhere to quality expectations and standards
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Support team efforts to reach common goals
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Use stairs, ramps, and ladders
- Perform physical movements including bending, twisting, and stooping
- Enter and locate information using computers
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
