- some experience in general maintenance

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment
- basic computer skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- respond and attend to guest repair requests
- communicate with guests or customers to resolve maintenance issues
- perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment
- visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- carry equipment such as tools and radio
- identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs
- maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
- communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
- perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs
- replace light bulbs and A/C filters
- test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment, plumbing, electrical components
- program TVs
- perform housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties
- follow Lockout/Tagout procedures
- perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs
- display basic computer skills
- follow all safety and security policies
- report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- maintain uniform and personal appearance
- welcome and acknowledge guests
- adhere to quality standards
- develop positive working relationships
- move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
- move on stairs, ramps, and ladders
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested
