  • Ability to work flexible hours including events in evenings and weekends

  • Customer service experience in a hospitality setting

Job Duties

  • Book entertainment acts such as live bands, soloists, DJs, and comedians for the restaurant
  • Research performers and make recommendations for bookings
  • Negotiate contracts, secure W-9 vendor information, and obtain performer invoices
  • Prepare post-event summaries assessing future booking potential
  • Develop new entertainment options continuously
  • Oversee all event details including staffing and purchasing
  • Test equipment and train staff for new events
  • Manage social media presence with daily posts and special event calendar emails
  • Respond to online customer reviews promptly
  • Contact dissatisfied guests to improve satisfaction
  • Work events and ensure guest happiness
  • Conduct table touches and relay feedback to management
  • Represent the restaurant at networking and off-site functions
  • Hire, orient, schedule, coach, train, and motivate front-of-house staff
  • Develop and implement training goals related to operations
  • Take orders and suggestively sell food and beverages
  • Card patrons under legal drinking age and refuse alcohol to minors
  • Serve beverages in a courteous manner
  • Assist with inventory of supplies
  • Address customer complaints regarding service, food, and beverages
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
