Job Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license in applicable state
  • Ability to travel for McKibbon or brand training as required and attend McKibbon One conference every 18 months
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a proven sales leader
  • Previous hotel management experience highly desired
  • Experience working with major brands like Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt highly desired
  • Ability to make revenue management decisions to grow market share
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of adhering to budgets
  • Ability to develop and lead a strong sales team with measurable accountability
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact with diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds effectively
  • Ability to ensure hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards are followed

Job Duties

  • Responsible for overall sales and revenue generation of the hotel
  • Implement and train associates on all McKibbon sales procedures including systems and processes
  • Maintain compliance and stay up to date on new sales initiatives for the brand and company
  • Critique STR report and report out on End of Month (EOM) Report
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate revenue opportunities and implement proactive strategies
  • Track performance of key accounts and analyze market trends to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with McKibbon, property owners, and clients
  • Engage in local community and industry organizations and maintain visibility as a McKibbon leader
  • Use Delphi Standard or Delphi Advanced (FDC) daily
  • Support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations
  • Participate collaboratively in weekly revenue management calls
  • Facilitate sales strategy calls with hotel and regional team members
  • Develop, execute, and document strategic business plans
  • Collaborate on annual budget preparation based on market knowledge and forecasts
  • Prepare and deliver market updates for owner meetings
  • Lead daily sales standup and weekly sales meetings
