Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year driving experience
- valid driver’s license
- acceptable motor vehicle driving record
- ability to communicate clearly
- ability to evaluate and select actions quickly and accurately
- ability to work under pressure
- ability to maintain composure
- ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
- willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- valid driver’s license for the applicable state
- acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)
- minimum of one year driving experience
- ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- ability to work well in stressful and high pressure situations
- ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- ability to drive manual or automatic transmission vehicles
- willingness and ability to work outdoors in inclement weather including wind, rain, heat, and cold.
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards and scheduling requirements
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and name tag
- comply with all hotel safety and operation regulations
- greet guests pleasantly
- maintain the safety of every guest vehicle driven
- assist in the efficient delivery of guest vehicles
- assist in securing all guest keys
- help to direct and control traffic flow
- provide superior customer service
- assist in arranging guest transportation including taxis
- assist guests needing wheelchair transportation
- provide accurate and timely documentation and reports including claim checks, vehicle damage, and billing
- assist in maintaining cleanliness of all work sites
- assist in all dispatch duties efficiently
- help answer guest questions about casino, spa, and hotel
- assist guests with valet retrieval process
- correctly and efficiently enter guest vehicle information into computerized valet system
- place arrival tickets on the correct numbered hook
- monitor and document guest traffic flow in the valet lot
- assist in speedy service of guests exiting valet
- maintain current listing of local attractions and events
- maintain list of local transportation guides and facilities
- provide information, maps and directions as required
- obey all traffic laws on and off property
- assist with maintaining neat and clean curbside free of debris
- assist with unloading and loading luggage
- perform various front office tasks as needed
- assist with securing public spaces, guest corridors and parking garage
- perform other duties as required.
