Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
- ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
- experience with professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
- strong analytical skills and strategic vision
- ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- strong organization and presentation skills
- demonstrated ability to manage and interact with diverse people
- advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
- ability to work well under pressure
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
- or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
- or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
- highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
- strong organization and presentation skills
- advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
- demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
- ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure
Job Duties
- Cast creative spells to fill rooms and increase revenue
- train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team
- develop budgets, forecast outcomes, and create marketing campaigns
- conduct sales calls, tours, and client meetings
- support the General Manager and collaborate with all hotel departments
- act as an ambassador for the hotel’s brand and positivity
- manage multiple sales projects simultaneously
