Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
  • ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • experience with professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • strong organization and presentation skills
  • demonstrated ability to manage and interact with diverse people
  • advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • ability to work well under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • strong organization and presentation skills
  • advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • Cast creative spells to fill rooms and increase revenue
  • train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team
  • develop budgets, forecast outcomes, and create marketing campaigns
  • conduct sales calls, tours, and client meetings
  • support the General Manager and collaborate with all hotel departments
  • act as an ambassador for the hotel’s brand and positivity
  • manage multiple sales projects simultaneously
