Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior convention, event, or catering sales experience preferred
  • Creative thinker with food, beverage, and event knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for negotiation and sales
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to work independently, multitask, organize, and present professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in convention, event, or catering sales preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and event planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and close sales
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Manage and exceed food and beverage sales goals
  • Serve as primary liaison for clients and event groups
  • Conduct property tours and lead client meetings
  • Plan and execute event logistics ensuring flawless service
  • Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales and catering directors to meet revenue targets
  • Represent the hotel at community events and in promotional activities
