Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior convention, event, or catering sales experience preferred
  • creative thinker with food, beverage, and event knowledge
  • strong verbal and written communication skills for negotiation and sales
  • valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • proven ability to work independently, multitask, organize, and present professionally

Job Duties

  • Crush sales and satisfaction targets including meeting planner scores, guest delight, and food and beverage sales
  • build and maintain strong client relationships through phone communication and property tours
  • monitor industry trends to identify new marketing opportunities
  • plan and execute events accurately managing banquet orders and last-minute changes
  • represent the hotel at local events and participate in promotional activities
  • collaborate with sales leadership to achieve revenue and satisfaction goals
  • manage day-to-day catering and convention service operations to ensure a seamless client experience
