Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior convention, event, or catering sales experience preferred
- creative thinker with food, beverage, and event knowledge
- strong verbal and written communication skills for negotiation and sales
- valid driver’s license for the applicable state
- proficient in Microsoft Office
- proven ability to work independently, multitask, organize, and present professionally

Job Duties
- Crush sales and satisfaction targets including meeting planner scores, guest delight, and food and beverage sales
- build and maintain strong client relationships through phone communication and property tours
- monitor industry trends to identify new marketing opportunities
- plan and execute events accurately managing banquet orders and last-minute changes
- represent the hotel at local events and participate in promotional activities
- collaborate with sales leadership to achieve revenue and satisfaction goals
- manage day-to-day catering and convention service operations to ensure a seamless client experience
