Job Requirements

  • ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Work Permit
  • work nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
  • verbal communication skills
  • ability to work with fingers and perform repetitive movements
  • ability to walk, stand for extended periods
  • occasionally ascend or descend stairs or ramps
  • occasionally lift or move objects horizontally or vertically
  • occasionally stoop or crouch
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus adjustment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum two years hotel front office experience or one year concierge experience
  • experience in a four star or four diamond hotel preferred
  • computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft programs and other software
  • ability to type at least 40 words per minute
  • extensive knowledge of hotel, casino, and community
  • friendly and outgoing personality
  • excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
  • problem-solving skills for standardized situations
  • ability to maintain effective working relationships

Job Duties

  • ensure compliance with tribal internal controls and resort policies
  • arrive early for shift transition
  • know the resort and services in detail
  • have extensive knowledge of Camas Club policies
  • follow guest response process daily
  • possess knowledge of surrounding community and events
  • provide anticipatory and personalized guest service
  • create customized itineraries and packages
  • manage VIP and frequent guest programs
  • monitor business center activities
  • maintain positive and professional appearance
  • up sell rooms, services, and amenities
  • complete required paperwork and logs
  • answer telephones promptly
  • check guests in and out at concierge desk
  • assist front desk and bell stand during peak times
  • collaborate with other departments and vendors
  • be knowledgeable of emergency procedures and OSHA regulations
  • maintain communication lines across casino and resort departments
  • ensure cleanliness and professionalism of concierge desk
  • handle guest requests efficiently
  • maintain high visibility in lobby
  • work with casino hosts for VIP services
  • share information with other departments
  • uphold guest confidentiality standards
  • maintain good attendance
  • protect company assets
  • participate in internal review hearings if required
  • perform other duties as assigned
