Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one plus years experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment preferred
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to handle customer complaints effectively
  • cross cultural sensitivity
  • availability to work flexible shifts including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • guest centricity and understanding of guests preferences

Job Duties

  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • resolves customer complaints
  • assists customers with inquiries about hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions
  • responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices
  • processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail accurately and timely
  • knows available city activities and establishes close contacts with vendors to provide information, ticketing, and reservations
  • stores and retrieves guest luggage and packages
