Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel reservations or customer service preferred
  • Ability to handle money accurately and follow established procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
  • Ability to operate multiple reservation and management systems
  • Ability to type accurately
  • Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to add, subtract and audit accounts
  • Ability to handle money accurately and follow established procedures
  • Ability to operate LMS, CMS and RMS computer systems and read computer screens
  • Ability to type accurately on a computer keyboard
  • Knowledge of credit card transactions using electronic draft system
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certifications or licenses as required by local gaming regulations

Job Duties

  • Greet hotel guests
  • Communicate with Executive Hosts regarding hotel stays
  • Assist Marketing Dept. and Player Dept. in making reservations for special events, gaming tournaments and parties
  • Assist Food & Beverage Dept. with reservations for food outlets
  • Access LMS, HotSOS, and CMS systems and make informed decisions regarding comped, discounted and full rate rooms for hotel guests
  • Possess knowledge of rates, room types, room availability, hotel policies and procedures
  • Answer and accurately direct incoming phone calls through the property’s telephone system
  • Accurately record and distribute messages as needed
  • Use the public address system to page and make announcements as appropriate
  • Screen calls for staff as requested
  • Provide accurate information regarding the property, company, events, and promotions
  • Respond to emergency calls/situations according to established protocol
  • Answer guest questions regarding hotel, casino and community
  • Check guests into the hotel while verifying reservation information
  • Check guests out of hotel and assure billing is accurate
  • Provide exceptional guest service
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
