Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a culinary management role, preferably in a high-volume or upscale setting
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation techniques, and kitchen operations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide staff
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities
  • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through innovative menus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the Food & Beverage team

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a chef in a hotel or similar hospitality environment
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and presentation skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with hotel standards and guest preferences
  • Develop and update menus to reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and safety compliance
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and service
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create special menus for events and banquets
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations and hygiene standards
