Job Requirements
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance and high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- May be required to work weekends, holidays, and be available for emergencies
- Comply with certification requirements (Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid)
Job Qualifications
- Experience in training, supervising, and motivating staff
- Ability to evaluate and spot check work of staff and contractors
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of property maintenance and engineering systems
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards and practices
- Ability to respond promptly to emergencies
- Customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Lead the charge in keeping all property systems running smoothly
- Inspire, train, and schedule your engineering crew
- Champion workplace safety through inspections, fire drills, and employee training
- Implement and oversee the Preventative Maintenance program
- Manage energy usage and spending while sticking to budgets
- Promote conservation and make smart purchasing decisions
- Respond swiftly to guestroom requests and serve as emergency contact
