Job Requirements

  • at least 7 years of related progressive experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • food handlers certification as required by state regulations

Job Duties

  • supervise the preparation of food items, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation across all dining outlets
  • lead and assist kitchen staff, utilizing previous supervisory experience to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • anticipate needs, evaluate alternatives and solve problems efficiently in high-pressure situations
  • clearly convey information and ideas and effectively listen to and understand issues raised by co-workers and guests
  • work with financial information and basic arithmetic functions to support kitchen operations
  • ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment
