- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to work flexible early morning hours including weekends
- strong communication skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- knowledge of basic food safety practices

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service in the Bistro
- prepare and serve breakfast items, specialty coffee drinks, and other menu offerings according to Marriott recipes and standards
- operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, process orders, and handle cash/credit transactions
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Bistro, dining area, and all food preparation areas in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- stock and replenish supplies, condiments, utensils, and grab-and-go items as needed
- communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations
- assist with opening duties, including setting up equipment, brewing coffee, and preparing food
- provide product knowledge to guests and make menu recommendations when appropriate
- comply with Marriott service standards, uniform guidelines, and appearance policies
- support other hotel departments when needed to enhance guest satisfaction
