Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt friendly efficient service in the Bistro
- Prepare and serve breakfast items specialty coffee drinks and other menu offerings according to Marriott recipes and standards
- Operate the point-of-sale POS system accurately process orders and handle cash credit transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Bistro dining area and all food preparation areas in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Stock and replenish supplies condiments utensils and grab-and-go items as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with opening duties including setting up equipment brewing coffee and preparing food
- Provide product knowledge to guests and make menu recommendations when appropriate
- Comply with Marriott service standards uniform guidelines and appearance policies
- Support other hotel departments when needed to enhance guest satisfaction
