Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in hot and fast-paced kitchen environments

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment preferred
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and serve food items according to Marriott brand recipes, portion standards, and guest requests
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness by following sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures at all times
  • Monitor inventory and assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies properly
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for the kitchen and assist with daily prep work
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours
  • Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests at the counter
  • Uphold Marriott brand service standards and promote guest satisfaction
