Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Willingness to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service in the Bistro
  • Prepare and serve breakfast items, specialty coffee drinks, and other menu offerings according to Marriott recipes and standards
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, process orders, and handle cash/credit transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Bistro, dining area, and all food preparation areas in accordance with health and safety guidelines
  • Stock and replenish supplies, condiments, utensils, and grab-and-go items as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Assist with opening duties, including setting up equipment, brewing coffee, and preparing food
  • Provide product knowledge to guests and make menu recommendations when appropriate
  • Comply with Marriott service standards, uniform guidelines, and appearance policies
  • Support other hotel departments when needed to enhance guest satisfaction
