Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in beverage lounge or restaurant
- Experience supervising or managing staff of 15 or more
- Ability to implement menu and service standards
- Ability to reflect company culture in interactions
- Capability to perform associate training
- Commitment to high service quality
- Spirit and wine knowledge preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work accurately
- Willingness to work varied schedule including weekends, holidays, and special events
- Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a beverage lounge or restaurant outlet
- Experience managing a staff of 15 or more in a supervisory or managerial role
- Ability to implement established menu and service standards
- Strong spirit and wine knowledge highly desired
- Ability to train associates initially and on an ongoing basis
- Excellent communication skills for guest and team interactions
- Ability to maintain service quality under pressure
- Demonstrated skill in creating a supportive and fun working environment
- Ability to stay updated on local events and tailor operations accordingly
- Creativity to drive sales in food and beverage outlets
Job Duties
- Monitor food preparation and service areas for quality and brand standards
- Continually audit guest service to ensure attentiveness and anticipate needs
- Check bar and kitchen coordination and audit ticket times to maintain timely service
- Control profit and loss elements of the Food and Beverage operations
- Coordinate meal and menu planning with the Corporate Food and Beverage team
- Assist with administrative duties including tracking expenses and invoice input
- Conduct daily pre-shift staff meetings and regular team meetings to acknowledge successes and address improvements
- Maintain and update the beverage menu and spirit list
- Schedule monthly and quarterly training sessions for staff with vendors
- Update point-of-sale system with menu changes and pricing
- Maintain beverage inventory and cost control
- Engage with guests during operational hours to create repeat business
- Collaborate on product pricing, menu selections, and training with the Corporate Food and Beverage team
- Implement McKibbon Guiding Principles in daily operations
- Coach and mentor staff to improve skills and service quality
- Participate in employee performance appraisal process
