Job Requirements
- Must be minimum 21 years of age
- stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs including cases of beverages and kegs with assistance
- communicate clearly in English both written and verbally
- ability to perform duty with or without reasonable accommodations
Job Qualifications
- Two years of bartending experience
- previous cashiering experience
- excellent welcoming, guest service attitude
- neat, clean appearance compliant with company standards
- ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with service excellence standards
- Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training certificate or willingness to attend training within 30 days
- current Food Handler and Allergy training certificate or willingness to complete training within 14 days
- prior experience with RTP system preferred
Job Duties
- Responsible for tending bar in a high-volume dining restaurant and poolside bistro, serving both bar patrons and wait staff
- mix, pour and serve drinks to customers and/or wait staff serving tables
- keep work area and bar organized and clean at all times
- responsible for cash handling and daily sales reconciliation
- perform cashier duties
- set up cash drawer
- take payment and return correct change
- cash out at the end of the evening
- ensure that your bank is correct
- print out guest checks as needed for payment, close out and receive payments from guests to expedite service
- assist in daily operations of serving, cleaning, bussing, and answering phones dictated by business volume
- greet and seat customers as required
- open bar facilities
- stock and set up bar for service
- perform shift opening tasks including setting tables, opening doors, setting up service station, making sure all menus are stocked
- maintain good customer relations
- interact with customers in a pleasant but professional manner
- provide superior service at all times
- follow proper etiquette guidelines while interacting with guests
- adhere to state liquor regulations
- determine when customers should not be served alcohol
- handle disturbances created by disorderly or intoxicated patrons with proper guest consideration and safety
- alert manager of inventory shortages of liquor, food, and supplies based on anticipated or actual guest volume
- comply with all company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
- perform other tasks as assigned
