Job Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Meet legal age requirements of the state
- Certification as required by state or local laws
- Extensive knowledge of mixology
- Experience with cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of ABC regulations for state and local offices
- Physical ability to stand, carry 30-75 lbs, walk, lift, reach overhead, push, bend, and climb ladder
- Availability to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Ensure that bar is clean and properly set up, supplies needed for upcoming shifts are available
- Greet guests pleasantly and promote house drinks using up-selling skills to maximize revenues
- Prepare beverages according to standard procedures with proper portions and ingredients to control costs and maintain consistency
- Maintain complete knowledge of alcoholic awareness programs and all state and local ABC regulations
- Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when to cease service and notify management of incidents
- Perform inventory of banquet bar beverages
- Ensure bar is clean and secure at end of shift
- Promote marketing events to guests
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change
- Serve food orders to guests seated at the bar
- Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to restaurant manager
- Assist with restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
