Job Requirements
- ability to lift plus or minus 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

- prior experience in banquet or catering services preferred

- basic knowledge of audio visual equipment handling beneficial
Job Duties
- set-up and breakdown of banquet and meeting spaces per banquet event order instructions, including tables and table complements
- approach all encounters with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- review banquet event orders with strong attention to detail
- monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of banquet spaces before, during and after events
- inspect table place settings for correct placement and ensure each element is clean and undamaged
- ensure proper setting of buffet tables and food service tables
- participate in clearing and post function cleanup and garbage removal
- return all equipment to necessary storage locations
- maintain clean and orderly back areas, pre-function areas and storage areas
- supervise handling, storage and security of catering service and audio visual equipment
- exhibit a positive, enthusiastic attitude committed to teamwork
