Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in banquet or catering services preferred

  • basic knowledge of audio visual equipment handling beneficial

Job Duties

  • set-up and breakdown of banquet and meeting spaces per banquet event order instructions, including tables and table complements
  • approach all encounters with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • review banquet event orders with strong attention to detail
  • monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of banquet spaces before, during and after events
  • inspect table place settings for correct placement and ensure each element is clean and undamaged
  • ensure proper setting of buffet tables and food service tables
  • participate in clearing and post function cleanup and garbage removal
  • return all equipment to necessary storage locations
  • maintain clean and orderly back areas, pre-function areas and storage areas
  • supervise handling, storage and security of catering service and audio visual equipment
  • exhibit a positive, enthusiastic attitude committed to teamwork
