Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in hospitality industry preferred
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to communicate in a second language preferably Spanish
  • Ability to count
  • Ability to read and write legibly
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of proper sanitation and chemical handling
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 25-60 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling
  • Availability to work fluctuating hours including weekends and holidays
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and areas after each guest vacates
  • Dusting and polishing furniture, woodwork, light fixtures, and ceiling fans
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and shampooing carpets as needed
  • Organizing and restocking guest supplies such as toiletries and stationery
  • Changing linens and towels, replacing with clean items
  • Removing waste and recycling properly, following health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining cleanliness of dining utensils, kitchen equipment, and storage areas
  • Assisting with food preparation including salads, grilling, and garnishing dishes
  • Performing other duties as requested like cleaning spills and special guest requests
