Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to lead and motivate hourly staff

  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates and promotes 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests
  • Become trained in all managerial functions and operations at the hotel level
  • Ensures all associates are properly onboarded, trained and complete ESU required training timely
  • Promote compliance with company policies and procedures including safety and security
  • Upholds and drives compliance with policies, rules, and standards at the property level
  • Ensure associates drive company initiatives to increase revenue, lower costs and increase guest and associate satisfaction
  • Serve as first level of management contact for guest service issues and resolve guest issues in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate professionalism and embrace ESA's service culture
  • Interact daily with guests to identify quality lead generation and assist guests with future travel needs
  • Assist in maximizing revenues and flow through to GOP to meet or exceed budgeted EBITDA
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding and training new associates
  • Supervise and promote a positive work environment among associates through teamwork and recognition
  • Participate in daily team meetings and provide guidance and corrective actions as needed
  • Assist in budgetary control measures including labor monitoring and scheduling
  • Ensure associates have necessary tools to execute their jobs
  • Serve as manager on duty in absence of GM/MUGM
  • Inspect guest rooms and perform guest ready inspections
  • Provide backup duties including front desk and housekeeping as needed
  • Manage purchase order process, ordering and receiving products
  • Assist in monitoring cash management and compliance
  • Support hotel sales activities, including Soar leads as needed
  • Monitor and respond to social media
  • Ensure clean rooms and prioritize guest and associate satisfaction
