Job Requirements

  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Ability to multi-task on several assignments at once
  • Strong communication skills between co-workers and guests
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and a variety of systems
  • College degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
  • Two to three years previous experience in the rooms division
  • Knowledge of various computer systems such as Opera, Givex, HOTSOS
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate the Front Desk team ensuring performance standards are met and address disciplinary matters when necessary
  • Resolve guest concerns with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism providing accurate information and accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • Coordinate arrivals, departures, and billing needs with Sales and Catering ensuring room blocks are accurate and that all Special Attention, Return, and Group guests are properly handled
  • Ensure all financial and credit procedures are strictly followed promptly addressing any credit concerns in partnership with the Director of Front Office and or Credit Manager
