Job Requirements
- Two or more years of supervisory experience managing at least eight associates at a branded hotel
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum three years of experience in the hotel industry preferred
- Experience with accounting preferred
- Display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage operations preferred
- Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, reading, and communicating
- Ability to stand for eight hours and lift or carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum two years supervising at least eight associates in a branded hotel
- Minimum three years hotel industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with accounting practices
- Knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage operations preferred
- Strong supervisory and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and staff
- Proficient in property management systems
Job Duties
- Provide efficient and courteous service to each customer
- Maximize room revenues by directing front office, housekeeping, and maintenance operations
- Supervise staff by hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and developing associates
- Promote positive morale and foster a friendly work environment
- Complete administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll, inventories, and production controls
- Work within budgeted guidelines for maximum revenue and labor costs
- Maintain safety and security practices and ensure knowledge of emergency procedures
- Ensure guests receive the highest quality product and service
- Communicate and document using internal communication tools
- Implement company rules, policies, and procedures as outlined in the Associate Handbook
- Maintain certification from brand-approved responsible vendor training
- Keep General Manager informed of significant issues
- Perform other duties as assigned within capability
