Job Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field
- strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- experience with computers and some competence in programs like Microsoft Word and Excel
- excellent communication skills and the ability to use proper grammar and spelling
- familiarity with hotel management software (FOSSE) is a plus
- CPR certification or the ability to obtain certification

Job Duties
- Assist the Hotel Manager in daily operations and staff supervision
- lead your team and set an example for staff performance
- conduct yourself attentively and friendly with guests, vendors, and coworkers
- maintain open communication with General Manager and ownership
- supervise employee training and improve performance
- schedule shifts, lead meetings, and perform disciplinary or praise actions
- create working knowledge of all hotel positions and lead by example
- manage orders and control inventory
- solve problems calmly with critical thinking
- follow up on guest and staff issues promptly
- be proactive to prepare for potential issues
- ensure compliance with brand and ownership standards
- maintain accurate cash counts and paperwork
- assist in managing budgets and financial reports
- maintain security protocols and procedures
