Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of hotel supervisory or management experience
- Experience with Marriott brand preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of property management systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Fluency in English including speaking, reading, and writing
- Ability to perform various job duties as business needs arise
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hotel supervisory or management experience
- Marriott brand experience strongly preferred
- Full operational knowledge of property management system
- Positive role model with problem-solving abilities
- Flexible work hours to accommodate scheduling changes
- Ability to adjust energy level in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging associates and guests
- Detail oriented in supervising staff and completing assignments
Job Duties
- Provide vision for the staff by promoting company and brand standards
- Interview, hire and onboard new staff to meet the highest levels of guest service
- Ensure new associates participate in new-hire orientation and receive proper job-related training
- Schedule staff to maintain guest satisfaction and profitability
- Fill in when staffing levels are limited due to unforeseen reasons
- Coach and mentor staff to enhance associate satisfaction
- Process daily deposits and make collection calls to customers
- Identify and take action to drive incremental revenue through yield management
- Conduct inspections of the facility and ensure timely maintenance
- Review audit reports for accuracy and investigate irregularities
- Provide feedback to staff about survey scores, financial goals, and operational issues
- Interact with guests to resolve complaints satisfactorily
