Job Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of hotel operations
  • Strong people and time management skills
  • Ability to assign or delegate work and authority
  • Degree in hotel management or related field or two years equivalent hotel industry experience
  • Marriott Brand experience strongly preferred

  • Experience mentoring and developing team members
  • Knowledge of hotel operational systems

Job Duties

  • Delivering outstanding service to guests and leading others by example
  • Develop service guidelines with Corporate Operations Team and ensure their seamless execution
  • Build and nurture an inspired, collaborative, hospitality-minded team
  • Monitor and track departmental operations performance
  • Lead and ensure a guest-first approach
  • Manage staffing to optimize guest satisfaction while balancing budget
  • Approve payroll and oversee month-end closing process with reporting
