Job Requirements
- 3+ years management experience in hospitality or similar industry
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to diplomatically take care of difficult situations and people
- Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office Suite, Merlin, Kipsu, Hotsos is helpful
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Excellent skills in budgeting, expense management, inventory, payroll, labor costing, staffing, marketing, owner relations, and PL management
- Able to interpret a variety of instructions and regularly exercise independent judgement and discretion about matters of significance
- Proven systems knowledge and experience with Avero/Aloha, Micros and ADP/eTime payroll or combination of these systems

Job Duties
- Lead a hardworking Front Office team to provide extraordinary guest experiences while adhering to financial guidelines
- Assist General Manager in directing all hotel operations and maintaining high guest service levels
- Be present in public areas during peak times to greet guests and offer assistance
- Build and innovate guest satisfaction programs for housekeeping and front desk
- Coordinate duties of Front Office and Grab & Go employees and maintain property system interfaces
- Ensure training and certification of employees in assigned departments
- Mentor, counsel, and discipline employees within your departments
- Supervise other hotel departments such as Security and Engineering when necessary
- Manage vendor orders and maximize sales in the Grab & Go
- Address guest complaints and resolve problems efficiently
- Plan, assign, and direct work schedules
- Hire, train, and support team members to maintain high morale and departmental efficiency
- Monitor payroll activities and ensure proper scheduling
- Follow procedures for handling cash, credit, and gift certificate transactions
- Conduct daily tours of operating departments to assess operations and staffing
- Inspect rooms regularly with department heads and the General Manager
- Hold weekly one-on-one meetings and quarterly reviews with department heads
- Develop management staff for future advancement through training programs
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on guest satisfaction
- Conduct interviews and follow hiring procedures
- Review and approve operating expenses and hold monthly financial reviews
- Ensure department heads adhere to budgeted productivity levels and accounting procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management
- Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
