Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or three to five years housekeeping or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
- must be 21 or older
- possession of Class II Gaming License
- previous housekeeping supervisor or manager experience is an asset
- hands-on leadership style with high energy and positive attitude
- computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word or related software
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- basic accounting skills
- knowledge of proper techniques for using chemicals and equipment
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- effective speaking skills
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to coordinate special team projects
- proven leadership ability to provide general guidance to subordinates
- eye for detail
- ability to work flexible shifts

Job Duties
- Supervise work activities of housekeeping staff to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms and public areas
- assign duties and inspect work and equipment and take corrective action
- train new housekeepers and supervise all housekeeping staff
- implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department
- maintain records and submit reports concerning personnel, equipment, and supplies
- conduct visual inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- report any repairs or discrepancies of rooms
- plan and coordinate activities such as linen inventory, work inspections, and supply inventory
- interact professionally with guests, front desk, and casino departments
- take charge of housekeeping operations in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper
- perform other assigned tasks
