Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years hotel sales or comparable experience
  • Proficiency in general computer usage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to participate in team meetings and lead as necessary
  • Completion of corporate sales or management training preferred
  • Knowledge of Hyatt’s sales systems

Job Qualifications

  • Desire to satisfy customer needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Completion of Hyatt Corporate Management Training or equivalent preferred
  • Training in selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills

Job Duties

  • Sell guest rooms and meeting space to small and mid-sized group markets
  • Manage customer accounts and maintain relationships
  • Conduct site inspections with prospective clients
  • Prepare and present effective proposals
  • Maintain organized sales documentation and reports
  • Utilize Hyatt sales systems efficiently
  • Participate in and lead sales and event meetings as needed
