Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • a minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience
  • proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to sell, negotiate and present proposals
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • preferred completion of Hyatt corporate management training or equivalent training

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience
  • proficient in general computer knowledge
  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • prefer completion of a Hyatt corporate management training program or equivalent training
  • training in selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills
  • a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

Job Duties

  • Selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups
  • managing accounts
  • conducting site inspections
  • soliciting and generating business
  • preparing and presenting effective proposals
  • maintaining well organized documentation and reports
  • utilizing Hyatt systems and coordinating customer service requirements
