Job Description
SREE Hotels is a prominent property management group specializing in the hospitality industry, with a strong presence across the Southeast of the United States. The company manages a diverse portfolio consisting of 24 brand-name hotels, including prestigious brands like Marriott and Hilton, located in key metropolitan areas such as Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Columbia, Cincinnati, and Myrtle Beach. SREE Hotels prides itself on offering exceptional career growth opportunities and a dynamic work environment to its associates. Their corporate office is strategically situated in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC, offering convenient access to major highways and airports, which supports both business operations and travel needs efficiently.
As an expanding organization with a proven track record in hotel management, SREE Hotels seeks to maintain a high standard of guest experience, operational excellence, and strategic growth. The company places a strong emphasis on nurturing a positive work culture and making a tangible impact across its properties, which include three Marriott-branded hotels in Concord, North Carolina. These hotels serve as vital hubs for both business and leisure travelers, known for their quality service and attention to client satisfaction.
The role being offered is for an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager who will take ownership of sales activities across the three Marriott-branded hotels in Concord. This full-time position is focused on generating top-line revenue by achieving or surpassing revenue goals through cultivating new business accounts and expanding existing client relationships. The Area Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving hotel bookings by creating robust sales strategies aligned with corporate and property-level marketing plans. The position demands proactive outreach to both current clients and potential new accounts, utilizing appointment-oriented sales calls, research, telemarketing, networking, and collaborative efforts with hotel management and the corporate sales team.
Additionally, this role requires a strategic approach to account management, including maintaining close contact with key accounts to assess and fulfill their needs effectively, negotiating guest room rates and services within approved guidelines, and ensuring each client receives superior customer service. Accurate and organized file management is also essential to support seamless client servicing and efficient communication.
Collaboration is another cornerstone of this role. The Area Sales Manager will frequently liaise with General Managers, Marketing Managers, and the Corporate Director of Sales to assist in business planning, participate in revenue management and marketing calls, attend sales meetings, and support the operational success of the hotels. The position also involves representing the company positively in the community and at client and guest events, thereby building rapport within the hospitality industry and local market.
Overall, this opportunity is ideal for an individual with direct hotel sales experience, excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and a team-player attitude. The company offers a competitive salary along with bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive, growth-oriented work culture. Candidates with a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, and reliable transportation are preferred to fulfill the demands of this dynamic sales role successfully.
