Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of experience in culinary arts or food technology
  • or associate’s degree and six years of experience in culinary arts or food technology
  • submission of Glendale College online employment application
  • current resume
  • transcripts showing completion of required degree (unofficial transcripts accepted during application process, official transcripts required upon offer)
  • certification of equivalency for foreign transcripts if applicable
  • adherence to Americans with Disabilities Act and other applicable laws
  • availability for part-time teaching assignments

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • develop and deliver course instruction in hotel and restaurant management
  • assess and evaluate student performance and progress
  • prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
  • collaborate with academic departments to ensure curriculum relevance
  • maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and practices
  • provide guidance and support to students
  • participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
