Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year in front desk operations
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations
  • Minimum of high school education
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  • Excellent time management skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition
  • Review arrival lists daily and assist in preparing and assembling welcome amenities
  • Escort VIP guests to rooms and check them in prior to arrival
  • Answer the telephone within three rings with a smile and respond or transfer calls accordingly
  • Handle cash duties including counting bank at beginning and end of shift, and ensure cash drops comply with procedures
  • Keep front desk area clean and organized
  • Assist with lobby activation as needed
