Job Duties
- Supervises the Banquet Department during catered events and coordinates work with the Event Planning and Culinary teams
- Acts as liaison between the Banquet Department, Event Planning, and Culinary to facilitate communications during events
- Works closely with the Senior Banquet Manager and Event Planning to plan and implement catered events and services
- Assists with labor and wage cost controls
- Monitors inventories and orders stock supplies and service equipment
- Oversees staff's attention to detail for all aspects of catered events
- Ensures Banquet staff perform according to Graduate Hotels standards
- Assists in planning and executing continuous staff education
- Conducts performance reviews for part-time staff
- Assists with development of Banquet Department policy and procedural manuals
- Maintains high standards of food service sanitation and overall appearance of banquet facilities
- Adheres to company rules and policies
- Contributes to effective team management of problems, issues, and opportunities
- Acts as a team player providing expertise within the team
- Performs other duties as assigned.
